  • Cloxazolam and breastfeeding

    Hello!

I would like to know if Cloxazolam 2 mg twice daily is compatible with breastfeeding an 11 months old baby.

Thank you so much for your help!

    Kind regards,
    Ana Rocha

    AnaLeitao-Rocha,

I checked with Dr Hale on this medication and he advised you could probably continue to breastfeed since your infant is older as long as your infant is not symptomatic. This medication has a long half-life of 65 hours so monitor your infant closely for sedation and poor feedings and a slowed breathing rate.
