Help! I think I got food poisoning and I have an upset stomach, nausea, and diarrhea. I took 2 Pepto Bismol chewable tablets before checking to see if it is okay to take while breastfeeding, and then I googled it and it says not to. What do I do?! Do I need to pump and dump? And if so, for how long? I nursed my baby like 5 minutes after taking it, but I assume that was too quick for it to get into the breastmilk. I'm so worried!

There's really not much risk in a single use. I'd go ahead and breastfeed.

But don't use it again. Use something like Loperamide (Imodium) which is not even absorbed orally.
