    I have a client who has in spinal cord stimulator inserted at T8 and T9 it was switched off in pregnancy but now 6 weeks post natal her leg is giving her bother again.. have you any information regarding the safety of it s use in breastfeeding? the manufacturer wont take any responsibility and her consultant feels in principle it should be safe but is reluctant to give her the go ahead.

    Dear Pollact,

    I did not find any contraindications for breastfeeding with the spinal cord stimulator, provided there are no complications that arise in mom, such as a severe infection.
