  • Sulfasalazine and Metrothrexate durind breastfeeding

    Hello, I'm 31, I have a 10 month old baby.
I was diagnosed with autoimmune sacroiliitis and told I should wean in maximum 2 months and start treatment with 2 or maybe 3 grams/day Sulfasalazine for 3-4 months and then ,maybe 15mg/week Metrothrexate if Sulfasalazine is not enough.
Should I wean? The baby is eating 3 meals/day solids plus breastmilk on demand. She would be one year old when I start treatment.
    Thank you.
