Can I nurse my 34 pound two year old on percocet and oxycontin? These are the drugs that were given to me to go home from the hospital with after surgery. I have nursed him while taking percocet before, but the addition of the other narcotic worries me. Is it safe? My orthopedist said to pump and dump

Generally yes, but it depends on a lot of factors, such as how old the infant is, how stable, and other drugs.

I'd suggest you call the InfantRisk Center for a closer examination. 806-352-2519

You do not need to pump and dump.
