  • Norco 5-325mg safe while breastfeeding my 11 week old?

I was in the ER for a kidney stone last night. They prescribed Norco 5-325mg for pain and told me to pump and dump for 24 hours after taking it. I took one pill at 7pm and have not taken another (it is now almost 10am). It's been 15ish hours. Is it ok to breastfeed at this point or should I continue to pump and dump until 7 tonight?

    Gigi3,

You can go ahead and nurse, over 93% of the medication is out of your system at this time.
