I have severe anxiety/panic disorder and have been taking 20mg Lexapro for over a year. I am very stable and, through consultation with my doctors, have decided to continue at my current dose through my pregnancy. I am currently 22 weeks, and I have not had any problems. Both my psychiatrist and my OB have told me that Lexapro is contraindicated in breastfeeding, and that the baby would receive too high a dose. I am prepared to use formula if I need to, but just wanted to ask for some more specific information here. Thank you!
