  • Resurface- retinol cream

    Hi,
I would be grateful for your advice regarding safety use of resurface face cream- 5% retinol, 5% lactic acid while breastfeeding.

    Thank you so much

    Codi,

Retinol and Lactic acid are both ok topically while breastfeeding. Retinol has minimal absorption through the skin so milk levels would be small to nil. Topical lactic acid should not produce any untoward effects in infants as they already produce and consume this product naturally.
