  • Klonopin while breastfeeding

My daughter is 6.5 weeks ago and she is breastfeed...... I took 1 1mg klonopin and I was wondering if it's still safe to feed her. This is the first time I've took 1 in 5 years and do not intend to take another one while I'm breast feeding. Is it safe to feed her?

    Nikki,

Wait about 4-5 hours to nurse and watch for sedation, slowed breathing rate and poor feedings.
