Hi! I am asking on behalf of a colleague who has a patient with recurrent respiratory/laryngeal papillomatosis. She is currently pregnant and hoping to breastfeed. Her ENT team would like to do a local Avastin injection into the larynx and also give her the Papzimeos vaccine after the baby is delivered.
For Avastin, my impression is that based on the data on intravitreal injections, local injection would likely not cross into systemic circulation and breast milk, and whatever degree that does would likely get digested.
Any guidance regarding Papzimeos and breast milk/feeding would be appreciated. Thanks!
