    NSAID/Muscle relaxers

    Hello,

    I tweaked my neck a week ago and all OTC remedies have not worked. I went to UC tonight (I do not have a PCP for a few more weeks), and the doctor told me I am having severe muscle spasms. He prescribed me methocarbamol 750mg, dexamethasone 4mg, and Meloxicam 15mg. The doctor rushed out before I had a chance to mention I'm still breastfeeding my 2.5 year old. The nurse that was with him said it should be okay since I'm not taking it long-term. All the research I have done online is giving mixed answers on whether it is safe or not. Mainly because all the answers are focused on infants and premature babies and I'm nursing a toddler. Thank you for your help

    Since these are short term and the amount of milk that your toddler is receiving is less than an infant would, this combo is not problematic.
