Hello , i read that it’s safe to do botox while breastfeeding
but let’s imagine that a small quantity of botox entered the breastmilk what would happen to the baby ? Will it affect his mental or/and physical abilities.?

If a small amount got into breastmilk, it might cause botulism symptoms in the infant. It's incredibly unlikely any would survive the plasma compartment of the mom, or even enter milk. In years past, some generic un-FDA approved Botox was marketed. It had lots of small molecular weight components and made some patients sick. Thus, make sure you physician is only using FDA-Approved Botox.

Sure my dermatologist uses fda approved botox, but what happens if a baby catches botulism ? Can it cause any trouble or death ?
and if baby is above 1 year old is risk of botulism low ?

If you infant catches "botulism" say from oral ingestion of bad or contaminated food, sure, this infections is serious and dangerous. Which is the reason we do not use honey with infants, because of the presence of botulism spores. On older infants, they are at lower risk from botulism spores. Their GI tract can prevent its growth under normal conditions.
