Hello!
I'm a mom to a 5 week old baby who was born fullterm and gained weight appropriately since birth. I have ADHD and have been significantly more anxious since getting off the medication during pregnancy. My daughter's pediatrician said that it's ok to get back on my medication. I have two options, I can go back on my regular dose of Vyvanse (40 mg), or I can take 5 mg of Dexedrine which my psychiatrist prescribed for me to use on weekends. I'm having trouble understanding which one is safer.
Also, I exclusively pump, so if I take the 5 mg, I can give her milk that was pumped before the dose and 4 hours after, is that better?
Any information would greatly help. It's so rough without the meds.
