I have to start taking blood pressure medication due to my high blood pressure. My son is 14 months and still breastfed. I really don't want to stop. What is a safe medication that I can take while nursing that doesn't have major side effects? Thank you

at 14 months most any antihypertensive is safe to use. Metoprolol, hydrochlorothiazide are good ones to start with.
