  • Fetzima

I called awhile back about Fetzima (levomilnacipran), an SSRI and Norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor. It is recommended to NOT use during breastfeeding. Your app lists alternative drugs to be Sertaline, citalopram and escitalopram which are SSRIs.

When this question came up again, I looked up Fetzima in LactMed also, and now LactMed has an entry for this drug. LactMed lists Duloxetine (Cymbalta) as an alternative to Fetzima, as it is also an SSRI and Norepinephrine Reuptake inhibitor. Is there a reason why InfantRisk Center doesn't list Duloxetine as an alternative drug to Fetzima? You do have Duloxetine information and list it as L3.

    Thanks!
