Hi! I have shingles and was prescribed Valacyclovir. I just want to double check that iy is safe to take. Thanks!

Valacyclovir is rated and L1-safest. The amount transferred into breast milk is only 4.7% of your dose. It has a half-life of 2.5-3 hours.
