    ilay1234,

Metamizole is rated an L4-limited data-possibly hazardous. The amount that transfers into breast milk is 1.2-3% of your dose. While metamizole has an increased risk of blood dyscrasias, if used briefly and at lower doses less than 1000 mg, it is probably safe to use in breastfeeding mothers. ( Medications and Mothers' Milk Database, Dr Thomas Hale) Avoid long term use. All metabolites were undetectable after 48 hours, so if you want to be cautious wait the 48 hours.
