Our L&D dept is writing new standing orders for pain management post delivery. The anesthesiologists like to use IM or IV toradol right after delivery because they think it reduces the amount of narcotic pain management required later. Our pharmacist is concerned with toradol d/t the black box warning. Do you think this one time dose is an issue for post delivery breastfeeding mothers?
