Bio Cimetidine 400 mg and Peploc 40 mg

    Hi

Is it safe to take together Bio Cimetidine 400 mg once per day plus Peploc 40 mg once per day, together with a basic alkaline powder once per day, whilst nursing a three year old. Or is the combination all too much?

    Thanks so much

    Nikita:

You should not take cimetidine and Peploc together. Peploc is a proton pump inhibitor (pantoprazole). Just use one or the other, but not both.

Peploc is much more powerful than Cimetidine, but takes a few days longer to work and must be taken daily.

Cimetidine works quicker, but is much weaker.
