  • Phentermine

    Hello,

I saw a 1997 reference to Dr. Hale about phentermine, and that it should not be used by breastfeeding mothers. I wanted to confirm this, as well as find out if there are any differences if a low dosage is used, etc. Are there any appetite suppressant alternatives if phentermine is contraindicated?

I also want to add that my daughter is over 14 months old, so it's not as if I'm trying to lose weight right after having a baby However, breast milk is still her main source of nutrition and I'm unsure that we're ready to wean.

    Thank you!
