  • Surgery - Sedative and Local Anaesthesia

I was just scheduled for surgery on this Friday (02/18/2011) and I was hoping to find information about safe sedation agents as well as safe local anaesthetics. I am nursing my 23 month old several times a day and want to be sure that I make safe choices. Thank you very much for any feedback. My sister-in-law is a OB-GYN nurse practitioner and I can have her post if necessary.
    Thank you very much,
    Elizabeth
