    Mother wants to know if chemicals in a body wrap for inchloss will get into her milk and effect baby who is 13 months but feeding frequently. Ingredients are:

    I can't really help with most of these. Caffeine is the only concern and I doubt much would be absorbed in the skin. Just observe your infant for insomnia or excitement.

    This is just a lotion with oils and emulsifiers. Virtually none of it is absorbed through the skin.

      Are there any guidelines on the daily amount of caffeine a mother can safely consume?

        Orally, its probably 2 cups of coffee/day, or about 95-200 mg per cup of coffee. But this totally depends on the age of the infant, the type of coffee/tea drink prepared.

        Just watch for excitement and insomnia.
