Safe to breastfeed after receiving botox injections into the face?

  • #2
    Shelley:

I'd wait a few hours, say 12 hours, then return to breastfeeding. Botox is almost exclusively deposited directly into tissues, and little if any escapes to the plasma. Even then, the molecular weight of Botox toxin in plasma is far too large to enter the milk compartment.
