    A breastfeeding mother of a 2 1/2 year old called asking about the safety of using collagen pills by Barton Nutritional Systems. Is this something she can use?

    Dear Ms. Jones,
    This is probably safe. Collagen is a protein and will not bother a 2 1/2 year old child. The other ingredients are probably safe as well. Hope this is helpful.
